Everybody has equal right about
education. No nation can rise without education. Allah has created both man and
woman equally and has no drawn any distinct distinction between them. Allah has
distributed them with equal facilities. So there should be no difference of
opinion regarding imparting education to women. Mother is the best teacher of
his son. Mothers have to be educated. A good mother can produce a good citizen.
If we want to be educated nation, female education is a must. Any nation cannot
build their strong foundation without keeping a half of its population in the
dark.
Islam has encouraged education and
training to women. The prophet of Islam has made education compulsory for both
men and women. We know that a good mother means an educated mother. Emperor Napoleon
said, “give me a good mother and I will give you a good nation.” So the hundred
percent need the importance of female education. There is a saying in English
that the hands that rocks the cradle rules the world.
A mother constructed in the
formation of children’s character. A mother exercises her baby a good influence.
Every woman is a potential mother. Many famous persons are influenced by his
mother. They learnt at home take firm root in them. It goes without saying that
this learning they get mostly from their mother as they live under her direct
supervision and constant care. If a mother fails to bring up her children
properly, the mother is held responsible for this future, not the child. Mother
who plays a vital role to forming the character and deciding the future of her
children. So we can say that educated mother is an asset and it is more
necessary to educated women folk. An ignorant wife cannot realize decision of
an educated husband. They can never have free exchange of ideas each other. Life
would be dull and unhappy for them. Frequent quarrels may result from such a
lack of understanding. Female education is essential from this point of view
also. This is a good news for us that our government has recently declared free
and compulsory education for rural girls up to S.S.C. A country cannot prosper
if its women are kept ignorant.
