Child labour is always hateful because it is against ethics and morality. The work or labour undertaken by a child is called child labour. It has become a matter of great concern in the Third World countries. The only work they can do is unskilled labour. They work in hazardous and unhealthy conditions. They work in hotels, ships. They work as domestic servants. They clean shoes. They carry heavy loads. They work in garment factories and in construction projects. They work in brick field and silk factories.
It is the poverty that is the main curse of child labour. Poor families are forced to push young children to work. Various natural disasters also force them to work. Flood, cyclones, river-erosion are the major reasons of the child labour.
Child labour is rapidly growing in Bangladesh. In Bangladesh the total number of child is 51.6 million. Of them 6.1 million are child labour. Most of the child labourers are floating. They have no house. They cannot get enough food. Most of them are of broken health. Bangladesh signed up the UN charter on children's Right. But the picture is really disappointing. The law has not been implemented properly. Result of this is gradual increase of child labour. It is not fair and ethical. So our government should take proper discission about this.
